Casa Merling began with a simple dream: to create a peaceful retreat in the hills of Marbella, where family and friends could slow down, reconnect and enjoy life's quieter moments.

Behind that dream lies a deeply personal story. After losing our mother far too early, my brother and I chose to honour her legacy by creating something lasting with the inheritance she left us.

When we found this apartment, we knew it wasn't perfect — but we could see its soul. Over more than six months, it was carefully transformed into the home it is today.

Every material, every colour and every detail was chosen with intention, to create a place that feels calm, warm and timeless.

For us, Casa Merling is far more than a holiday home. It is part of our family's heritage — a place created for beautiful memories, meaningful conversations, slow mornings and unforgettable sunsets.
